Charles Schwab Challenge
Brought in as lead videographer for tournament week, with a focus on expanding the event's social-first video, from new player-driven content early in the week to the people, personalities, and moments that bring Colonial to life once competition begins.
Freelance Work
Making the most of the access.
The days leading into competition offer some of the best opportunities to create with players if you have a plan for them.
Player-driven video had been relatively untapped territory for the tournament, so early in the week I helped identify opportunities, develop concepts, and capture social-first content that took advantage of access before the first competitive shot was hit.
It opened up a different side of tournament storytelling and created content built around the personalities at the center of the week.
Then the tournament starts.
Once competition begins, the lens widens.
The story becomes more than the players on the leaderboard. It's the fans lining the ropes, volunteers making the tournament happen, maintenance crews preparing Colonial before sunrise, and the details and personalities that give the week its character.
My role shifted toward finding those moments in real time and turning them into creative, social-first video throughout tournament play.
The story isn't always on the leaderboard.
Some of the best tournament content happens away from the golf itself. The job is knowing where to look and being ready when it happens.
